This policy explains what personal data we process, why, for how long, and what rights you have. It covers the nettera.cz website, communication with us and our company page on LinkedIn.

We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as we are not required to. For anything related to your data, contact us at the email above.
2. Visiting the website
The website uses no cookies, no third-party analytics or advertising tools and no embedded social media content.
Our web server automatically logs technical data with every request: IP address, date and time, requested page, referring page and browser identification.
- Purpose: operating and securing the website (detecting attacks and abuse) and aggregate traffic statistics. We may derive the network or organisation a visit came from based on the IP address.
- Legal basis: legitimate interest in secure operation and in evaluating interest in our services (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Retention: server logs 14 days, statistics data no longer than 12 months, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
3. Communication with us
When you email or call us, we process your name, contact details, possibly your company and position, and the content of the communication.
- Purpose: handling your enquiry and preparing an offer.
- Legal basis: steps prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); for company representatives, our legitimate interest in business communication (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Retention: for the duration of the communication and no longer than 3 years after it ends, unless a contract is concluded.
4. Customers and suppliers
We process contact and billing details of customers, suppliers and their representatives to conclude and perform contracts (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and to meet legal obligations, especially accounting and tax (Art. 6(1)(c)). Accounting records are kept for the statutory period, usually 10 years.
Where we process personal data on behalf of a customer as part of our services (e.g. in the Raya platform), we act as a processor under a data processing agreement with that customer.
5. LinkedIn company page and the “Nettera Community Management” app
To manage our Nettera s.r.o. LinkedIn page we use our own application connected to LinkedIn's official interface (Community Management API). The app is used solely to manage our own page: publishing posts, reading comments and reactions on our posts, replying to them and monitoring page statistics.
- What data: only what is necessary – the public name, profile identifier and comment text or reaction type of people who respond to our posts, and aggregate page statistics. We do not obtain email addresses, connections or other profile data.
- Purpose and legal basis: communicating with people who respond to our posts and evaluating the reach of our content – our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Retention: comments and reactions no longer than 48 hours, profile data no longer than 24 hours, in line with LinkedIn's terms. Access tokens are stored encrypted and only while the authorisation is valid.
- What we don't do: we do not sell LinkedIn data, share it with third parties, combine it with other data or use it for advertising, outreach, recruiting or building contact lists. It is visible only to administrators of our page.
- Artificial intelligence: drafts of posts and replies may be prepared by an AI tool. Every text is approved by a person before publication. No automated decision-making with legal effects takes place.
For page statistics, we are joint controllers with LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company under LinkedIn's Page Insights Joint Controller Addendum. LinkedIn's own processing is governed by its Privacy Policy. If you have granted the app access to your account, you can revoke it at any time in LinkedIn settings under Data privacy → Permitted services.
6. Who works with the data
The website runs on our own server infrastructure in the Czech Republic. Data may be processed by the following processors, always only to the extent necessary and under a contract:
- provider of email and office services (Microsoft, processing in the EU),
- providers of AI language models used to prepare texts,
- accountants and tax advisors.
We disclose data to public authorities only when required by law.
Some AI service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area (mainly in the USA). Such transfers are based only on a European Commission adequacy decision (EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or standard contractual clauses.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- access your data and obtain a copy,
- have inaccurate data corrected,
- erasure, where we no longer need the data or process it unlawfully,
- restriction of processing,
- data portability,
- object to processing based on legitimate interest – we will then stop unless we demonstrate compelling grounds to continue,
- lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection, Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7.
Send requests to info@nettera.cz. We will respond without undue delay and within one month at the latest.
8. Security
The website is available only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Only authorised persons have access to data, credentials and tokens are stored encrypted, and our systems are regularly updated and monitored.
9. Changes
We may update this policy, especially when our services or the law change. The current version is always available on this page.
